On July 16, the maintenance center for full range of construction machinery jointly built by Zoomlion and Shanghai Weide Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shanghai Weide), was formally inaugurated in Rangoon, Myanmar. This is Zoomlion’s first maintenance center for full range of products built overseas. It will provide better services and create more values for the customers in Myanmar.

Leaders of the local government and Chinese consulates and principals of the chamber of commerce, key clients and other units, totaling over 100 persons, attended the event. Also present was Zoomlion Vice President Mr. Xiong Yanming, concurrently General Manager of Zoomlion Overseas Company, and Shanghai Weide Chairman Pan Yongming.

The maintenance center will sell construction cranes, concreting machinery, building cranes and other equipment for foundation construction, supply relevant spare parts and provide maintenance service, covering all main models of Zoomlion in Myanmar now.

“This is a key step of our company in the distribution of new channel network worldwide, and also an important measure of improving the marketing and service network together with our partner to achieve long-term development,” said Xiong Yanming.

“Good products ensure the first step to win market and customers, but only quality and efficient service and sound spare parts supply system can help a company make rapid development and remain competitive on the market for long,” Xiong continued. He also revealed that Zoomlion will join hands with Shanghai Weide to build the designated maintenance center and spare parts library with a view to improving the quality of service and providing stable and good marketing support services.

In 2016, Zoomlion has accelerated its internationalization process of “going global” and “entering and maintaining foreign markets”. Following the idea of “focus, integration and localization”, it continues to promote the independent management model of its overseas companies, and works hard to improve the marketing network in key countries and build a complete global service support system and parts supply system. Nine major central storages have been established in Indonesia, Thailand, India, Dubai, South Africa, Algeria, Russia, Brazil and Pakistan respectively, achieving centralized management over the stock of high-frequency parts and providing efficient and convenient spare parts services for customers.
