Crane rental company CST Transporte has expanded its fleet with a new Grove GMK5200-1 all-terrain crane supplied through KranAgentur Werner. Based in Wildeck, Germany, CST Transporte has renewed its trust in Grove’s proven technology, strengthening its fleet, which already includes a GMK4090-1.
The new 200 t capacity GMK5200-1 will be used across a wide range of applications, including construction, precast concrete installation, engineering and energy projects, where CST Transporte has extensive experience.
A major factor in the company’s investment decision was the crane’s strong lifting performance, which enables efficient handling and installation of heavy precast concrete elements and the ability to drive with its full 70 t counterweight on the jobsite, which reduces setup times and improves overall jobsite efficiency.
For even greater flexibility, CST Transporte purchased the GMK5200-1 with an 18 m hydraulic bi-fold swingaway jib to expand its scope of work. It also added the working light package with additional LED lights to illuminate the area around the crane, plus storage boxes on the superstructure and carrier to provide ample space for slings and other lifting accessories.
