“The Tadano HK 65 convinced us really quickly”, says Michael Walter, Managing Director of Abschlepp- & Bergedienst M.Walter, a towing and vehicle recovery specialist. “The truck-mounted crane from TADANO is ideal for towing vehicles and can also be used with a truck licence without a specified travel road permission”, Walter continues. The great flexibility of the TADANO HK 65 also impressed the businessman: if required, you can add a ballast trailer with up to 5.1 t counterweight, which massively expands its range of use.

One major advantage is the selection of chassis, for example Mercedes Benz, MAN, Scania or Volvo. The HK types of TADANO are beneficial in conjunction with the commercial truck chassis. On one hand chassis of several producers can be selected, on the other hand there are different forms of road legalization possible. On bases of a simple truck road regulation the HK does not require any road permission, with its 32 t gross vehicle weight, counterweight is not included, but a 12.5 t hook block. With specified road regulations could be counterweight added in different sizes, respectively it could be carried by an additional counterweight trailer. The variations are versatile.

The M.Walter crane, towing and vehicle recovery service from the Schwäbisch Hall district in Baden-Württemberg was founded in 1994 and employs five people staff. As its initial experiences with the products and TADANO’s customer service have been positive in all respects, the managing director Michael Walter wants to also rely on TADANO with the next expansion of his fleet.
