Bauma 2013: Goldhofer promises a symphony of innovations
An absolute world first and numerous other groundbreaking innovations and enhanced products will be on show at the stand of Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft (Memmingen), the world’s leading manufacturer of special transport vehicles, at this year’s 30th edition of Bauma.
The highlight of the Goldhofer stand, which is fifty percent bigger than last year with over 1500 sq.m. of floor space, is a mystery product from the Goldhofer Innovation Box. This will make every visitor an eyewitness when a world first in heavy-duty transportation is unveiled exclusively at Bauma 2013.
“This year Goldhofer will once again be exhibiting the most advanced, groundbreaking transportation technology. The limits of performance and deployment of our transportation systems are being redefined and the benchmark once again raised in the heavy-duty industry,” says Goldhofer’s CEO Stefan Fuchs.
The symphony of new and enhanced products to be presented at Bauma 2013 will be music in the ears of all segments of the heavy-duty transportation industry. The Goldhofer stand will feature special equipment, e.g. for the transportation of big wind-turbine rotor blades, and a variety of new semitrailer and low loader solutions.
In Munich, Goldhofer will also be presenting its FTV 300 for the transportation of turbine rotor blades
The offering will also include exciting innovations in Goldhofer’s core-competence area of heavy-duty modules, while the construction industry will find plenty to admire in the way of targeted innovations for trailers and semitrailers.
“We are breaking payload barriers with new road vehicle solutions and minimizing deadweights in the field of heavy-duty operations while achieving unheard-of levels of torsional stiffness at the same time. We are significantly increasing the maneuverability of our vehicles and their flexibility in terms of deployment. We are also offering solutions to questions of detail for experts in a range of industries. In all cases, our overarching objective is the same: to develop the most economical, sustainable and efficient transport solutions for our customers. Whatever needs to be moved, from heavy and special loads to construction plant, we have a track record of setting the standards,” says Stefan Fuchs.
The world first – making its international debut at Bauma – is the product of thousands of hours of development work performed by the Goldhofer team of engineers – in keeping with the motto, “There is always a better way to do it.” But what is it? The big secret is not going to be revealed until the Innovation Box is opened at Bauma 2013.
Stefan Fuchs is convinced that Goldhofer’s stand at Bauma will once again confirm the company’s leading position as the clear heavy-duty market leader in terms of technology and innovation. And that relates not only to the company’s new and enhanced vehicles: “With regard to maintenance, project planning, service packages, and flexible rental and lease purchase solutions, too, Goldhofer is the partner of choice for competence and reliability in the field of heavy-duty logistics.”
“We look forward to welcoming you to our stand at Bauma. Head for open-air zone North F8 N823/1. We have a big surprise in store for you,” says CEO Stefan Fuchs.
