A Liebherr LTM 1070 4.2 mobile crane with fire service equipment was delivered in November to Reutlingen’s professional fire brigade. The fire brigade crane features the latest technology and fantastic reliability. The VarioBase® variable supporting base, which is unique among mobile cranes, was a major decision-making criterion in favour of the 70-tonner from Liebherr.
The fire brigade attaches a great deal of value to a variable support system for the mobile crane. At accident sites it is often not possible to extend the supports fully and the crane has to be erected quickly due to the urgency of the situation.
