Under the motto ‘Hands on the future,’ Liebherr will showcase solutions for the construction site of the future at Bauma 2025. On its 14,000 m² exhibition booth, visitors can explore over 70 exhibits and a wide range of customised solution concepts. Here are five exciting facts about this exceptional exhibit.
The Liebherr exhibition booth at Bauma is among the largest temporary exhibition booths in the world. While permanent exhibition halls are used for years, this booth is built entirely from scratch through an elaborate construction process—only to be completely dismantled after the event.
The outdoor exhibition area alone covers more than 14,000 square metres, equivalent to over two football fields. A project of this scale requires meticulous planning and extensive logistical coordination. In total, 200 truckloads of materials were delivered, and 1,200 tonnes of steel were used in the construction. To power the booth, 75 kilometres of cable were laid—enough to circle Munich’s Altstadtring 14 times. The entire setup took six months to complete, with numerous experts working to create the perfect showcase for Liebherr’s latest innovations.
