Logistics and lifting company Commhoist has taken delivery of the first of four new Liebherr mobile cranes that it has ordered.

First crane to arrive form the order is a 40-tonne class LTM 1040-2.1. It will be followed later in 2017 by two LTM 1060-3.1 mobile cranes (60-tonne) and an LTM 1130-5.1 (130-tonne).

Warrington-based Commhoist runs an exclusively Liebherr fleet and has now bought 59 Liebherr cranes over the past 20 years. “Their commitment to remain at the forefront of the latest technology as well as their product and service reliability is the main reason that we at Commhoist continue to invest in a fleet consisting entirely of Liebherr cranes,” said managing director Bob Kerslake.

Commhoist has ordered all its new Liebherr cranes with a full specification including fly jibs and Liebherr’s VarioBase system that allows outriggers to be deployed asymmetrically.
