Hinowa presents the new LightLift 13.70 Performance IIIS
Better performing and more compact, the new tracked aerial platform is destined to become one of the favourite machines of rental companies around the world.
Operating outreach of 7.08 metres, working height of 13.30 metres, load capacity of 230 kg throughout the working range, faster movement speed and new corner basket: the latest development from Hinowa, the LightLift 13.70 Performance IIIS, is distinguished by its compactness, durability and functionality. It is perfect for carrying out precision work in indoor and outdoor environments, like churches, museums and exhibition areas with rough or irregular surfaces. In fact, the new basket with rounded corners allows for a better approach to the wall, making even the most delicate operations possible.
As for size, the stabilisation area measures 2.8 x 2.8 metres, while the operating dimensions are drastically reduced: without basket the new LightLift 13.70 measures just 3.28 metres in length. The small size of the undercarriage and the possibility of detaching the basket make it easier to transport, being able to pass through cramped and confined spaces. With a height lower than two metres, it is possible for the machine to easily pass through any industrial and civil doorway.
The new model comes with a handy slot for lifting forks and hooks on Heavy Duty stabilisers. The standard platform is equipped with a single-speed fixed undercarriage measuring 786 mm, but on request it can be delivered with a dual-speed variable carriage measuring 748-1100 mm.
As far as the power unit is concerned, the LightLift 13.70 is available in three different configurations: the petrol-powered Honda iGX390 with 11.7 horsepower (8.7 kW), the diesel Hatz 1B40 with 10 horsepower (7.5 kW) and the electrical system (3.6 kW/h) powered by a lithium-ion battery pack. This latter version ensures zero emissions and high performance in terms of battery life, reduced noise level and limited environmental impact.
Hinowa has also focused great attention on operator safety. Thanks to slope control, the platform automatically decelerates in hazardous conditions. The anti-entrapment “SkyGuard®” system protects the operator in the basket, allowing for operation with absolute peace of mind.
The new LightLift 13.70 also makes use of the RAHM control and diagnostics system that provides constant remote monitoring of the machine, allowing Hinowa service staff to perform troubleshooting remotely. Moreover, thanks to the GPS device installed on board it is possible to find the platform at any time.
