Thursday 10th and Friday 11th of April, the first “Jekko Dealer Meeting” took place. The Jekko brand was established in 2006 from the design activity of special machinery brought forward over the years by Ormet SpA.

The meeting took place in the land of the prosecco, between CastelBrando, a castle with very antique origins, and the Cadelach, a resort at the foot of the Bellunese Pre-alps.


The objective of this meeting was to create group unity between the various dealers, leveraging experience sharing and therefore greater reciprocal knowledge and this was reached when considering the great participation of all Jekko dealers present in Europe and America.


The meeting opening was the welcome speech by the Managing Director, Diego Tomasella, and Ormet S.p.A. President Pierluigi Tonon. Tomasella retraced the history of Ormet and concluded by explaining the motivations and objectives of the meeting. Tonon instead lingered on company economic commitment to the growth of Jekko and the importance of human relations in the business world.

The start of works, instead, was held by Mauro Tonon, Jekko Marketing & South America Sales Manager. Tonon summarised the situation of the South American market trend and the marketing strategies that Jekko has planned for the near future. Finally, individual dealers were called to the stage, in a sort of mini-interview, to give their own contribution and testimony.

Throughout the afternoon the company decided to give space to the conscience of the territory, where Ormet first and then Jekko have their roots. The participants, in fact, were accompanied on a tour of the hills of Treviso with visits to wine cellars, cheese factories and distilleries. This way it was possible for people from different parts of the world to appreciate products from the Treviso land.


Throughout the second day, the works were concentrated on current and future Jekko organisation and on new products that will be marketed in the next months. First Marco Zava, Operations Director and Sales Director for North America, and then Alberto Franceschini, Jekko Commercial Director, presented market trends related to where Jekko has been operating since 2006 and introduced the new products that the company from Treviso has developed and that are ready to be marketed. This occasion was also used to present the new SPX series that completes the entire range (max capacity from 1 to 7.5 ton/m) and it was then demonstrated how the Jekko product is experiencing continual growth and what the group’s ambitious objectives are. In view of this, a development and investment plan was presented that will bring the Jekko brand to grow continually.

The final part of the meeting was a visit on the part of the dealers from the headquarters of Ormet S.p.A., being able to appreciate at close hand the work that is daily carried out in the production plant dedicated to in series assembling of all Jekko models.

The meeting was an unexpected success for Ormet: all dealers demonstrated how involved and enthusiast they were of the work completed during the 2 days, displaying their concrete optimism even for Jekko’s future.
