Regarding the recent visit to the Raimondi Cranes S.p.A. premises, the Management and staff of our company enjoyed the opportunity to listen and have a meaningful dialogue with our new owner and chairman, His Royal Highness, Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed Al Saud, about all the perspectives and challenges opening up to Raimondi with the recent change in ownership and the new plans for the company.
Besides the obvious importance and formality of such visit, it was an excellent opportunity for all in Raimondi to be personally acquainted with their Chairman and to hear directly from him many comments related to his impressions and personal thoughts relative to why his new acquisition and position was particularly especial to him. The meeting allowed for active participation, all of which made the occasion not only memorable but useful for all.
Due the passion for football among many of those present during the general meeting, a member of the staff added a humorous reference to the effect that while everybody seems to be distracted with sports and football, a Saudi prince sees real opportunities in the more traditional industrial sectors.
The prince greeted each and everyone personally, thanking them for the graceful reception and for the enthusiastic reaction to the new plans and challenges, a feeling which was shared by all, and clearly manifested, during the visit.
