Roll-Lift USA has taken delivery of a new SBL900 gantry system from Enerpac.
Roll-Lift says that the new gantry system will enable the safe and efficient lifting and positioning of heavy loads in circumstances where the use of traditional cranes is not possible due to restrictions, such as overhead structures or limited manoeuvring space.
The gantry will be used in conjunction with a rail system, which will allow the transport and accurate positioning of heavy loads.
The gantry’s first stage capacity is 900 tonnes, with a lift height of 8.3 m; while the second stage has a 600-tonne capacity and lift height of 11.3 m.
