The heavy lift and transport pro from Panama invests in new THP axle lines.
Investment in the future: The heavy lift and transport specialist Salerno Cranes of Panama City continues to trust in top-quality heavy-duty axle lines from Goldhofer Aktiengesellschaft. Company Directors Omar H. Salerno González and Omar Salerno Guerrero took advantage of Conexpo 2014 in Las Vegas to order a further THP/SL 6 split-combination trailer module. This latest acquisition brings Salerno’s Goldhofer fleet to a total of 22 heavy-duty axles. For its wide-ranging transport operations, the company also employs various accessories like low-profile drop decks, spacers and turntables.
“Goldhofer is the global leader in terms of quality and service. Our needs and inquiries always meet with a fast response. Goldhofer’s training alone is already a very good basic for success in the heavy haulage industry. We have 100 percent confidence in Goldhofer, and the same goes for our customers,” says a highly satisfied Omar H. Salerno González. With the new Goldhofer axle lines, Salerno Cranes are well equipped for further heavy transport work and for the growing demand for heavy-duty and oversized cargo operations with heavier and heavier payloads and cargos with higher and higher centers of gravity.
The customer’s praise is gratifying for Goldhofer’s CEO Stefan Fuchs and for Rainer Auerbacher, Area Sales Manager Heavy Duty Modules for South and Central America. “Salerno ordered the first axles from us three years ago, at Conexpo 2011. A follow-up order at the very next edition of the trade show is naturally good news,” says Rainer Auerbacher. With more than 2,400 exhibitors and over 130,000 visitors, Conexpo 2014 is the world’s biggest construction plant trade show and one of the big items in Las Vegas’ full calendar of exhibition and trade show events.
