Sims Crane has named Kaliope “Popi” Fatolitis as its commercial construction manager. Her responsibilities include facilitating and overseeing all major commercial projects with area sales representatives throughout Florida. Fatolitis is based in Sims Crane’s headquarters in Tampa.
Fatolitis previously worked for AmQuip, starting as a tower crane operator in the southeast before being promoted to sales/management for the company’s Florida division. In that capacity, she was responsible for overseeing all high-rise construction involving tower cranes sales from North Carolina to Florida.
“We are very excited to have Popi spearheading our statewide commercial construction sales team,” said Erika Sims, Sims Crane’s vice president of sales. “With her years of experience in tower crane operation and sales, Popi is well known and respected in the commercial construction industry, making her the perfect person for this position.”
