Sims Crane, a Florida-based crane rental company has taken delivery of Tadano‘s 75-ton (68-tonne) capacity ATF70G-4 all terrain crane.
Tadano ATF70G-4 features a 171 ft (52 m) main boom and a hydraulic offset, bi-fold swing-away jib of 52.5 ft (16 m). Key features include multiple counterweight configurations and AML system with full on-board diagnostics.
According to the crane manufacturer, Sims operates the largest Tadona all-terrain fleet in North America.
Meanwhile, Southwest Industrial, an industrial rigging company located in Phoenix, Arizona, has taken delivery of its second Tadano ATF400G-6 all terrain crane.
Southwest Industrial purchased the updated Tier IV-Final Tadano 450-ton (408-tonne) capacity all-terrain crane which features a main boom which extends to 196.8 ft (60 m). Enhanced features include a updated lower cab, advanced AML-F multi-display control system with full on-board diagnostics and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Scott-Macon Equipment, a Tadano dealer located in Texas and Oklahoma, has taken delivery of Tadano’s GR-1600XL-2 rough terrain crane.
The 160-ton (145-tonne) capacity crane is Tadano’s largest rough terrain crane and is mounted on a rigid three-axle frame with self-removable outriggers and counterweight for ease of transportation. The GR-1600XL-2 is equipped with a 200 ft (61 m), 6-section formed boom. The single telescoping cylinder design provides a strong lifting chart and the ability to achieve a working radius of up to 185 ft (56 m).
The crane also features Tadano’s asymmetrical outrigger system, tilt-able cab and an AML-C operating system with full on-board diagnostics.
Coastline Equipment, Tadano’s California based distributor and part of the Bragg Companies, will take delivery of Tadano’s GR1000XL-2 rough terrain crane.
The unit will add to Coastline’s growing rental fleet of Tadano rough terrain cranes. Tadano’s 100-ton (90-tonne) capacity rough terrain crane is mounted on a two axle frame with self-removable counterweight for ease of transportation. The GR-1000XL-2 is equipped with a 154 ft (47 m) boom and 58.1 ft (17.7 m) jib giving the crane a maximum lifting height of 212 ft (64.6 m).
