The winning photograph this month was sent in by Mr. Wolfgang Stechl from Mindelheim. It shows the ATF 220G-5 during the construction of a Paulaner brewery in Langwied near Munich. The construction work began in January 2014 on the 15 hectare site southwest of the motorway junction A8/A99. The ATF 220G-5 had the task of lifting stanchions of a length of 28 meter and weighing up to 42 tons.
The interesting and the intense colour of the sky won over all three members of the jury immediately and the picture was awarded with top spot on the podium. Beyond that, the photograph also fulfilled the minimum requirements with respect to sharpness, quality and resolution.
Any amateur photographers who have captured a TADANO crane in action can take part in the TADANO Photo Contest 2014. The competition extends over the whole year. Each month, a three-person jury selects the best photo sent in and each monthly winner forms part of the annual TADANO calendar for 2015. In addition, each monthly winner has the chance to be selected as photo of the year.
