Terex announces successful delivery of six reach stackers to Santos, Brazil

Terex Cranes has announced the successful delivery of an additional six TFC 46M HC reach stackers to TECONDI (Terminal para Contêineres da Margem Direita) to operate in the Port of Santos, Brazil.

Produced at the Terex Cranes facilities in Montceau-les-Mines, France, all six units were delivered via the company’s local distributor Equiport.

Each unit was fully commissioned on March 15th this year.

TECONDI, which holds a 17 percent share of port handling and logistics operations in Santos, already has an existing fleet of 19 Terex reach stacker units.

Terex’s TFC 46M HC reach stackers offer the ability to stack 6 high, High Cube and ISO dry containers of 31.75 tonnes and 40.82 tonnes in the first row; 6 high ISO dry containers of 29.02 tonnes in the second row; 5 high, High Cube containers of 31.75 tonnes in the 2nd row; 5 high ISO dry containers of 17.23 tonnes in the 3rd row, and 4 high, High Cube containers of 17.23 tonnes in the 3rd row.

The Terex TFC 46M HC comes equipped with a Cummins QSM 11 239 Kw, at 1800 rpm engine, DANA TE 27 transmission and fully integrated IC-1 monitoring system with MD3 dashboard display panel.

In a statement, Terex said that all units can be tailored with container handling spreader, hook block and multi-attachment devices for specific loading applications.
