Terex delivers AC 500-2 to leading Hungarian crane hire company
Terex announces the introduction of one of its largest cranes to the Dunagep fleet.
Dunagep, the Danubian Building Machines Servicing Corporation, is one of Hungary’s biggest crane hire specialists. The largest of Dunagep’s all terrain cranes, the new Terex AC 500-2 is in the 500-tonne capacity class and has a reach of 144 metres, compared to the 400-tonne lifting capacity and 135-metre reach of its previous flagship machine.
The 25-year-old crane hire company is headquartered in Budapest with subsidiaries in Slovakia and Croatia, and mainly serving the steel, refinery and petrochemical industries. Dunagep will be debuting its latest crane in a Hungarian power plant project.
Dunagep Chairman Laszlo Szecsenfalvi observed that they had no hesitation in choosing the Terex crane in preference to other makes. He commented that features such as good transport logistics, quick set-up, long reach and reliability in the new Terex AC 500-2 added a whole new dimension to their product line-up.
Terex Sales Manager, Andreas Schramm believes the AC 500-2 crane will enable Dunagep to accept and independently undertake work that previously would have necessitated working in conjunction with industry partners.
