World Rental Summit-2013: Rental continues growth in emerging markets

WORLD RENTAL SUMMIT-2013 has taken place at Rodina Grand Hotel in Sochi, Russia on September 19-20, 2013 and turned out to be a dynamic and exciting networking event.

WRS-2013 topic was: Emerging Rental Markets, its agenda included presentations of speakers from Russia, India, Latin America, USA and UK on perspectives of emerging rental markets, rental fleet management, financing opportunities for rental companies and other actual topics.

The WRS-2013 discussions and panel sessions have shown that rental is developing fast in emerging countries, and these markets undergo similar changes and face many common challenges. Two days of networking in a unique atmosphere have resulted in a number of contracts, new orders, important knowledge and valuable experience.
Nikita Krotkiy, RusRental President: «This is our fourth big event for the rental industry, and this year we feel a different attitude of equipment dealers and manufacturers – now they show much higher interest to equipment rental market. This is a long awaited trend, which proves that Russian rental industry has reached the next stage of its development».
Indeed, the size of Russian rental market is annually growing by 25%, and the number of rental companies in Russia is increasing fast. Krotkiy adds: «Several years ago equipment dealers and manufacturers have not taken Russian rental market seriously, but this year we see the critical change of the situation. This means that Russian rental industry is on the right track and is becoming more mature».
