After five trade show days, the Liebherr Group has drawn a positive conclusion of the Bauma 2013 in Munich: Customers from all around the globe have visited the Liebherr stands, and a multitude of orders has been signed. Some product areas have even far exceeded the expectations.
In the area of earthmoving technology, the success at the Bauma has been exceptionally good. After the first days, numerous sales successes have been recorded. Demand was particularly high from Western and Eastern European markets, such as Germany, Russia, France, the Netherlands or Switzerland as well as North America and Africa. Furthermore, material handling equipment from Liebherr is also in high demand at the Bauma, which was apparent by a large number of business transactions.
In the tower crane product area expectations have been surpassed. During the first few days of the trade show, approximately 100 tower cranes from all model series have been sold. There was high demand, for example, from Western Europe, India, South and North America and Australia.
In the area of mobile cranes, Liebherr has made a better start at the Bauma trade show than practically ever before. By Wednesday, 55 cranes had already been sold, especially to customers from North America, Great Britain and Russia.
The trade show has been a success for Liebherr’s concrete technology area as well. Many business transactions have been completed. Liebherr records further successes in the new area of concrete pumps.
In the area of special deep foundation equipment, Liebherr’s high expectations have been met. Some important transactions have been completed. These transactions represent the current market situation: The main markets in the deep foundation equipment area are presently in North America and the Far East. The markets in USA, Canada, Australia and Azerbaijan are especially prominent.
