P&J Arcomet Signs Distribution Agreement for ZoomLion Tower Cranes
P&J Arcomet LLC has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with ZOOMLION Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co. Ltd. to supply its tower cranes in the United States and Canada.
ZOOMLION recently launched the T8030-25 flattop tower crane, which has an 80m hook radius and 6,615-lb. capacity at the jib tip (25t inside capacity). The first crane was recently put to work on the Rolex Building in Dallas, Texas. P&J has placed an annual delivery order with ZOOMLION and has started taking deliveries this month.
The newly designed tower crane is the first in a series of new products that is meant for the company’s strategic expansion into the North American and European market. ZOOMLION & P&J Arcomet began working together on the T8030-25 development in 2014. The crane was designed by Franz Jost, one of the leading engineers of the Peiner SK series of tower cranes. Peter Jehle, founder of P&J, developed the mechanical & electrical systems further to meet European and North American requirements.
The T8030-25 meets the DIN and FEM standards for design and manufacturing. In addition, the crane has TüV and UL/CSA certification, along with AWS (American Welding Society) certification for all welders.
The new T8030-25 will be on display next month at Bauma.
