New appointments at Terex Construction and TMHNA
Terex Construction has announced the appointment of a new engineering director. Eric Kuimjian brings more than 20 years’ experience to Terex and will play a key part in further expanding the Coventry, UK, facility’s range of backhoe loaders, site dumpers and construction rollers.
Alongside leading the West Midlands-based factory team and bringing the latest technologies to the Terex equipment portfolio, Kuimjian will also be responsible for introducing the latest energy-efficient engines and low-carbon technologies, as part of the company’s global emissions reduction program.
Commenting on his appointment, Kuimjian said, “My key priorities in the first few months will be to drive innovation throughout the Terex range; bringing next-generation solutions and user-friendly equipment to hire firms, owner-operators and construction companies worldwide. I plan to look at ways to enhance performance and user experience while ensuring that our entire range meets global emissions requirements.”
Meanwhile, Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) has announced the appointment of chief procurement officer Kevin W Alexander, effective immediately. In his role, Alexander will be responsible for developing and implementing a corporate procurement strategy and organizational structure to leverage the combined resources of Toyota Material Handling, USA (TMHU), Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg (TIEM) and The Raymond Corporation.

TMHNA consistently evaluates ways to improve business operations, reduce overall costs and maintain a lean operation,” said Brett Wood, president and CEO of TMHNA. “As chief procurement officer, Kevin’s experience aligning purchasing and supplier synergies will contribute to the overall success of TMHNA and Toyota Material Handling Group.”
Alexander brings more than 15 years of executive experience to TMHNA, most recently serving as vice president of global sourcing for Honeywell Security Group, Honeywell International. Prior to Honeywell, he was vice president of strategic sourcing at Dover Corporation’s Paladin Brands Material Handling division. He has also held leadership positions at The Boeing Company, Glasstech and SKF USA.
