Terex Construction has announced the appointment of a new engineering director. Eric Kuimjian brings more than 20 years’ experience to Terex and will play a key part in further expanding the Coventry, UK, facility’s range of backhoe loaders, site dumpers and construction rollers.

Alongside leading the West Midlands-based factory team and bringing the latest technologies to the Terex equipment portfolio, Kuimjian will also be responsible for introducing the latest energy-efficient engines and low-carbon technologies, as part of the company’s global emissions reduction program.

Commenting on his appointment, Kuimjian said, “My key priorities in the first few months will be to drive innovation throughout the Terex range; bringing next-generation solutions and user-friendly equipment to hire firms, owner-operators and construction companies worldwide. I plan to look at ways to enhance performance and user experience while ensuring that our entire range meets global emissions requirements.”
